In the case of cheating crores of rupees in the name of online tender, another case has been registered against five including former private secretary to the Chief Minister PC Upadhyay, Saurabh Sharma alias Saurabh Vats, his wife Nandini Vats.
One crore taken in the name of getting tender
Rajat Parashar, a resident of Gurunanak Nagar, Patiala (Punjab), has given a complaint that the accused took about one crore rupees from him and his associate firms in the name of getting government tenders. Later neither got the tender nor returned the money. Threatened to kill him for demanding the money back.
A case has been registered against the accused in the city police station. Earlier, Sanjeev Dev, a resident of Patiala, has filed a case against the accused for cheating Rs 3.46 crore.
