Be it a minority or a majority, there should be one wall for all: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

On World Minorities Rights Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this day is a day to remember the fundamental duties for the protection and promotion of the integrity and unity of the country. Dhami said that there should be no minority or majority, everyone’s wall should be one.
The Central and State Governments are working for the welfare and upliftment of the minorities. The Chief Minister was addressing the program organized by the Uttarakhand Minorities Commission on Sunday under the public information campaign. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also attacked the Congress. He said that earlier governments used to play with the minority community just to get votes. Now the work is being done to develop the minority society on priority in the country, to take it forward and to educate and empower it.
The program was organized at the Auditorium of Survey of India, Hathibarkala, in collaboration with the Minority Welfare Department and the Uttarakhand Police Department. In this, emphasis was laid on making minority society more aware of their rights. During this, free online coaching facility was started by the commission for the students preparing for competitive exams. For this, a WhatsApp group has been created, in which interested students will have to send a message on WhatsApp to mobile number 9997922069.
Chief Guest Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the scale of development in the state has been prepared with Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. Referring to various schemes of the Center and the State, the Chief Minister said that the benefits of the schemes are not given by looking at one’s religion, but by seeing who is eligible.
Talking about women empowerment, the Chief Minister said that keeping in view the rights and interests of Muslim women, the implementation of triple talaq law was a historic decision. He said that if there is equal law then no one will victimize anyone. He told that the government had talked about building a 50-bed hospital of the Unani Medical College in Kaliyar Sharif, for which funds have been approved. Soon the construction of this hospital will start.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that we should discharge our duties seriously along with our rights. In the program, the Chief Minister also honored a total of 65 people, including police, social service, education and those who have done remarkable work in various fields and meritorious students from minority communities. The Chief Minister also inspected the stalls set up by various departments including Uttarakhand Tourism, Minorities Commission in the campus. The students of Madrasas mesmerized the program by presenting songs.

Disposal of 617 complaints in four years:
Chairman of Uttarakhand Minority Commission, Padma Shri Dr. RK Jain said that every year on World Minority Rights Day, the Commission informs about the schemes sponsored by the Central and State Governments. During his four-year tenure, 617 complaints of minority communities were resolved in the Commission. Said that it is necessary for everyone to be aware of their rights.
A complaint can be made to the commission regarding the violation of rights. Since its formation in the year 2002, the commission has been working continuously. Vice President Mazhar Naeem Nawab said that the commission’s teams are working in various areas to redress complaints and provide benefits of schemes. Uttarakhand got a lot of benefit from Chief Minister Hunar Yojana, Maulana Azad Education Finance Foundation Scheme.

Law equal for all, police does not discriminate:
DIG P. Renuka Devi said that police is identified by uniform and not by religion. That’s why the law is also the same for all classes. Based on the complaint of the Minorities Commission, this year the police received 150 complaints, in which cases were registered in 27 cases. 53 FIRs were registered for hurting religious sentiments. In the harassment of Muslim women, 200 cases have been registered in three years.

Revolution in women with the law on triple talaq:
Uttarakhand Minority Commission member Seema Javed said about women empowerment that today women are moving forward in every field. The law made by the government regarding triple talaq has brought about a revolution among Muslim women.
Growing love of Muslims towards BJP:
Shadab Shams, chairman of the Uttarakhand Waqf Board, said that the minorities and the majority would not be treated differently. Will bring uniform citizenship law. He said that Muslims polled 94 percent in Champawat and Haridwar elections. Due to this, the love of Muslims towards BJP is increasing.
