BJP leader, ‘Daughter of Uttarakhand’ Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj received the award for her outstanding work in politics.

Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj, National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Morcha, was honored with the award for outstanding work in the political category at the Young Achievers Award function organized by Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO).
Around 20 young achievers including politicians, business women, entrepreneurs, sportspersons and social workers were felicitated during the function. One award was given in each category.
Deepti Rawat was given the Young Achievers Award organized by Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) by Nitin Gadkari, Transport Minister, Government of India, for her wonderful contribution in the political field.
FLO is the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). An all India forum for women, FLO is headquartered in New Delhi. FLO represents over 8000 women entrepreneurs and professionals.
With an experience of over 37 years, FLO has been promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence among women through workshops, seminars, conferences, training and capacity building programs etc.
FLO was established in 1983 as a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the apex body of industry and commerce in India.
Deepti Rawat has worked for women’s participation and rights during her stay in about 25 states for the cause of women. She has also worked at the grassroots level with ASHA workers, Anganwadi women and women’s groups.
Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj has also played an important role in Gujarat elections as in-charge. The young leader also ensured that how the women’s vote goes in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Modi in the Gujarat elections. Deepti plays an active role in all the elections held across the country and has also been making women aware about democratic and voting rights. Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj has been active in the field of politics for two decades, apart from being a student leader in Delhi University, she has also been associated with social concerns. Deepti has been running her organization “Urja” for the past decade, where she contributes to the work of women and child development.
