
Both the BJP organization and the government have come together to hoist the flag of victory in the municipal elections. In this episode, the state BJP has put all its MPs, all the ministers of the Dhami government, as well as 10 responsible persons, 31 leaders including three former chief ministers on the front for the municipal elections. All of them have been assigned the responsibility of coordinator. The appointment of coordinators in the bodies is an example of how seriously the BJP is taking the municipal elections. According to BJP’s state general secretary Aditya Kothari, on the instructions of BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, coordinators have been appointed body-wise for the elections. He said that Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta has been made the coordinator of Haldwani, MP and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat of Haridwar and Shivaliknagar, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank of Roorkee, former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat of Gopeshwar, Joshimath and Karnaprayag, MP Ajay Bhatt of Rudrapur and Gadarpur, Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal of Kashipur and Ramnagar. MP and BJP’s national media chief Anil Baluni has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Pauri, Rudraprayag and Swargashram, MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Tehri and Chamba and Rajya Sabha member Kalpana Saini has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Vikasnagar, Herbertpur and Selaqui. Among the ministers of Dhami government, Premchand Agarwal has been given the responsibility of Rishikesh, Satpal Maharaj has been given the responsibility of Laksar, Landhaura and Bhagwanpur, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has been given the responsibility of Srinagar and Thalisain, Ganesh Joshi has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Dehradun and Mussoorie, Subodh Uniyal has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Kotdwar, Muni Ki Reti, Gaja and Tapovan, Rekha Arya has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Pithoragarh, Gangolihat and Berinag and Saurabh Bahuguna has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Almora and Sitarganj. Former minister Swami Yatishwaranand has been made the coordinator of Mangalore, Sultanpur-Adampur, Dhandhera and Jhabreda. He will also assist former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in Roorkee.

Balraj Pasi will be the coordinator of Kaladhungi and will assist Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal in Kashipur. Vinay Rohila will take charge of Bajpur and Gularbhoj and will also assist MP Ajay Bhatt in Rudrapur.
Among other responsibilities, Madhu Bhatt has been appointed coordinator of Dugadda and Satpuli, Anil Dabbu of Khatima, Shiv Singh Bisht of Ranikhet-Chinyanola, Chaukhutia and Dwarahat, Shyamveer Saini of Imlikhera, Uttam Dutta of Shaktigarh and Lalpur, Shadab Shams of Padli Gujjar, Rampur and Piran Kaliyar and Ganesh Bhandari of Dharchula, Munsiyari and Didihat. State General Secretary Khilendra Chaudhary has been given the responsibility of Jaspur, Mahuakhedganj, Mahuadabra and Sultanpur Patti, State General Secretary Rajendra Singh Bisht has been given the responsibility of Nainital, Bhawali and Bhimtal, State spokesperson Suresh Joshi has been given the responsibility of Lohaghat and Champawat and National General Secretary of Mahila Morcha Deepti Rawat has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Uttarkashi and Chinyalisaur.
