BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Uttarakhand, took oath as Rajya Sabha member on Thursday. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar administered the oath to him. After taking the oath, Bhatt expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda and the entire central leadership and said that he will try to accelerate the pace of development coming from the Center by becoming a strong voice of Devbhoomi in the Upper House.
‘Will try to fulfill people’s dreams’
Mahendra Bhatt assured that he will make every possible effort to fulfill the expectations of the party leadership and workers and the dreams of the people of the state. The Prime Minister will work to take Modi’s development plans from the plains to the remote areas of the mountains.
‘The aim is to increase the development work of the central government’
Mahendra Bhatt said that he will work to realize the development aspirations of the people of Devbhoomi by giving voice to them in the Upper House of the country. Will work to take forward the development works of the Central Government in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami. Also, his priority will be to carry forward the policy of former Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni, who brought development schemes to the area by coordinating with various departments of the Centre.
