Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami formed the Yatra Authority and the officers should start preparing for next year’s Chardham Yatra from now on. He directed to review the preparations for the National Games at a high level every year. Said, this year the Chardham Yatra was completed safely. Yatra is the basis of the state’s economy. For better arrangements and management for the Yatra, the officers should get involved in the preparations for the Chardham Yatra of 2025 by forming an authority soon. The opinion of all stakeholders should be taken before the formation of the authority. Also, for the convenience of pilgrims and tourists coming from outside, the website of the Tourism Department should be made better, so that all the information related to the journey is available on the website itself.
The CM said, along with the main roads damaged during the disaster period, the internal routes should also be repaired on priority. The CM said that organizing the National Games in the state is important. Along with giving responsibility to the secretary level officers for the preparations, he also directed to hold a review meeting every week under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.
