Under Take Home Ration, an amount of 35 crores has been released by the Central Government against 58 crores, due to which funds are not being given in Anganwadis in a time bound manner.
In the meeting organized in this regard, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi told the officers that all the dues till January should be completed at the earliest and women self-help groups should be given the opportunity to work anywhere in the district. So that their scope of work can increase and the group can get more benefits. He said that the women of the SHGs sitting in the agitation dharna in Gandhi Park should be raised with equal assurance so that the work of Anganwadis is not affected.
Many people including Chief Development Officer Jharna Kamthan, DPO Child Development Akhilesh Mishra, Self Help Group women workers Komal, Rita Negi, Farida, Samra, Farzana were present on this occasion.
