CM Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program, expressed his gratitude to the PM.

On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. In the Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the Himalayan fig called Pahari Fig. The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the Pithoragarh administration in the field of employment generation and conservation of minerals and flora by promoting the production of Bedu. Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for this, the Chief Minister said that in fact Bedu is Sanjeevani for health, through which many diseases are quenched by the local people.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to District Magistrate Pithoragarh Ashish Chauhan over phone and congratulated the district administration and the people of the district for this commendable initiative. Juice, jam, chutney, pickle and other ingredients are being made from Bedu in Pithoragarh with the help of district administration.

The Chief Minister said that in Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister talked about conservation and promotion of water, efforts to eradicate malnutrition and awareness for malnutrition free India, encouraging people for production of coarse grains. In this direction, the state government will work in a planned manner.
