
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has continued the process of distribution of responsibilities in various commissions, authorities, councils and committees on the occasion of completion of three years of the government. After giving responsibilities to 20 BJP leaders on April 1, another list was released late Friday night, in which 18 party leaders have been given responsibilities. These include former Jhabreda MLA Deshraj Karnawal and BJP state treasurer Puneet Mittal. Earlier, 27 leaders have been given responsibilities. With this, the number of responsibilities has now increased to 55.
Second list of responsibilities released late night
The topic of cabinet expansion and distribution of responsibilities has been the center of discussion in political corridors for the last few days. In this episode, the process of giving responsibilities to BJP leaders has been started in Navratri. After giving responsibilities to 20 BJP leaders on April 1, the second list of 18 responsibilities was released late Friday night. It is said that out of the list of leaders submitted by the state BJP for distribution of responsibilities, 38 have been given a place.
Still, responsibilities have not been given in many corporations and councils including Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, Badri-Kedar Mandir Samiti, Film Vikas Parishad. In such a situation, another list of responsibilities is likely to be released soon.
16 vice-presidents, one chairman and one co-chairman
According to Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari, among the leaders to whom the Chief Minister has assigned responsibilities on Friday, there are 16 vice-presidents, one chairman and one co-chairman. He informed that Balveer Ghuniyal has been appointed as Chairman of Herbal Advisory Committee, Surendra Mogha as Chairman of Uttarakhand Animal Welfare Board, Bhuwan Vikram Dabral as Chairman of Herbal Advisory Committee, Subhash Barthwal as Chairman of State Formation Movement Honor Council, Puneet Mittal as Chairman of Urban Environment Protection Council, Girish Dobhal as Chairman of State Silence Council, Geetaram Gaur as Chairman of Uttarakhand Tribal Advisory Council, Dr. Jaipal as Chairman of Uttarakhand State Higher Education Promotion Committee, Deshraj Karnawal as Chairman of Social Welfare Schemes and Monitoring Committee, Ajit Chaudhary as Chairman of Uttarakhand State Farmers Commission, Pratap Singh Panwar as Chairman of State Medicinal Plant Board, Jagat Singh Chauhan as Chairman of State Level Minor Irrigation Advisory Committee, Shankar Koranga as Chairman of State Level Watershed Council, Maheshwar Singh Mahara as Chairman of Tea Development Advisory Council, Naveen Verma as Chairman of Senior Citizen Welfare Council and Ashok Nabyal as Chairman of Uttarakhand Tribal Advisory Council.
