
Nine companies will provide helicopter services for Kedarnath Dham. Ticket booking for helicopter service will start from 12 noon on April 8. These helicopter services for Darnath Dham will be operated from Guptkashi, Phata and Sirsi. The fare for this has also been fixed. The fare from Guptkashi to Kedarnath has been fixed at Rs 8532, from Phata at Rs 6062 and from Sirsi at Rs 6060. UCADA’s ACEO Dayanand Saraswati gave this information.
Culture Secretary took stock of Kedarnath Yatra arrangements
Rudraprayag: For the preparations of the Kedarnath Yatra, the administration is restoring the necessary basic facilities on the Yatra route including the Kedarnath walking route. At the same time, the IAS officer has been given additional responsibility as the senior IAS nodal officer for the Kedarnath Yatra.
Senior IAS officer and Secretary Culture Yugal Kishore Pant has been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring the preparations for the Kedarnath Yatra. The Secretary reached Ukhimath on Friday. He took information about the basic facilities for pilgrims on the Kedarnath Yatra route such as drinking water, electricity, communication, transport, health, residential arrangements, parking situation, horses and mules, dandi-kandi and road route for Kedarnath Dham. During this, he also talked to the pilgrimage related organizations Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), local people, right holders and Kedarnath Sabha and sought suggestions regarding the Kedarnath Yatra. BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that after reaching Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath, Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant visited the winter seat of Kedarnath Dham. During this, Kedarnath Dham in-charge officer Yaduveer Pushpavan informed the Secretary about the winter worship arrangements. On this occasion, Kedar Sabha President Rajkumar Tiwari put forward suggestions to the Secretary regarding the Kedarnath Dham Yatra. On this occasion priest Shivshankar Ling, priest T Gangadhar Ling, Vedpathi Yashodhar Maithani, Kuldeep Dharmwan along with committee employees, officers of other departments and local people were present.
