Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs of the Uttarakhand State Movement by laying a wreath at the Shaheed Memorial at Kachheri Dehradun on the occasion of State Foundation Day. During this, Chief Minister Dhami said that today the state of Uttarakhand has entered the Silver Jubilee year. At the same time, a rally parade was organized at the Reserve Police Lines in Dehradun, in which Governor Lt. General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) took the salute of the parade. CM Dhami said that the state of Uttarakhand was formed as a result of the struggles made by our state agitators for the formation of the state. The Chief Minister also remembered former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on this occasion who laid the foundation of the state of Uttarakhand. Said that continuous work is being done by the state government to lead the state on the path of progress in accordance with the dreams of the state agitators. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done rapidly in every field to make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand. Chief of Army Staff Anil Chauhan also reached the parade organized at the Police Line on the occasion of State Foundation Day. During this, the Chief Minister will honour personalities doing remarkable work in various fields with Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman.
