Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave best wishes, celebrated Diwali with orphans and destitute children

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended Diwali greetings to the people of Uttarakhand. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khandudi Bhushan has congratulated the people of the state on Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhaiya Dooj.

May this festival of Deepawali illuminate everyone’s life:
In his message, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the festival of Diwali is the festival of victory of peace over disturbance, good over evil and light over darkness. May this festival of Diwali illuminate everyone’s life.
Happy Bhaiya Dooj
Giving best wishes on Bhaiya Dooj, the Chief Minister said that along with the love of brothers and sisters, this festival displays the respect of maternal power and their importance in the family and society.

Diwali celebrated with orphaned and destitute children:
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Diwali Milan program with orphans and destitute children in the program of ‘Apna Ghar’ Bal Mahila Utthan Samiti in Dehradun on Monday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended Diwali greetings to all the children. All the children were very excited to see the Chief Minister in their midst.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the arrangements made for the children living in ‘Apna Ghar’ and the products being made by the children. He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Bal Mahila Utthan Samiti working for destitute children for this commendable work.
The Chief Minister distributed sweets to the children on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that by coming among the children today, their childhood memories have been refreshed. Wishing a bright future for all the children, the Chief Minister said that the state government would provide all possible support for these children.

Speaker of the Assembly gave best wishes:
The Speaker said that the festival of Diwali gives the message of victory of light over darkness and truth over falsehood. He wished that this festival brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of the people of the state along with the rays of harmony and development.
Happy Diwali to the Governor
Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Seni) at Raj Bhavan and greeted him. President of Hans Foundation Bhole Ji Maharaj and Mata Mangala also met the Governor and wished him on Diwali.

Senior officials of the government also met the Governor and wished him a happy Diwali. While wishing everyone a very happy Diwali, the Governor said that this festival should bring happiness, prosperity and happiness in everyone’s life. Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Anand Vardhan and Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and other officers were present on the occasion.
Resolve to make Uttarkashi drug free
Uttarkashi Police took a pledge to make Uttarkashi drug free. With this resolution, Superintendent of Police Arpan Yaduvanshi has warned drug smugglers that if any person found involved in the intoxication of smack, charas, opium, action will be taken against him under NDPS Act as well as under Gangster and Goonda Act. To catch drug smugglers, now a police team will be deployed in civil dress as well.
