Forest fire has created an outcry in Uttarakhand. Forests are burning everywhere. Wild animals are coming towards residential areas to save their lives. Not only this, now this fire is reaching the houses. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also continuously monitoring the incidents of forest fire. In this sequence, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to the Chief Secretary over telephone on Sunday that instructions should be immediately issued to the District Magistrates to continuously monitor the forest fire every day for a week.
District Magistrates have been instructed by the Chief Minister to completely ban burning of all types of fodder for one week with immediate effect. Along with this, urban bodies have also been instructed to ban burning of their solid waste in forests or around forests.
