Chief Minister’s Council meeting held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said something like this.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is committed to make Uttarakhand the dream of the Prime Minister and to achieve this goal, it is working continuously with the mantra of “Solutionless Resolution”. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the meeting of the Chief Minister’s Council, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in New Delhi.
Expressing gratitude for the Prime Minister’s guidance in the development of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said that the vision papers of Uttarakhand @2025 and @2030 are being prepared to realize the dream of the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister said that under this vision plan, a target has been set to double the state’s Gross Domestic Product in the next five years through a growth rate of 15 percent per annum. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave detailed information about the development works done in the state and the vision ahead in the conference.
In order to realize the vision plan of the state of Uttarakhand, capital expenditure in this financial year has been increased from 13 percent to 17 percent in relation to last year’s budget. As a result of this increase, the state has achieved the target of making the capital expenditure required by the Government of India to be 4 percent of the state’s GDP. In this series, infrastructure worth about Rs 25000 crore will be developed through external assistance in the next five years to give strength to the economic momentum of the state.

State Gati Shakti Master Plan is being prepared on the lines of “PM Gati Shakti Yojana” to ensure better coordination among departments and for accurate planning of capital projects. A target has been set by the state to complete this ambitious scheme in the next 6 months.

The ambitious economic goals of the Vision Plan will be achieved through thrust sectors like (tourism, transport, service sector, agriculture and horticulture, pharma). Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the work on Rishikesh-Karnprayag and Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail projects is being done expeditiously.

For an investment friendly environment in the state, industries are being given permissions from various departments at a fast pace through a single window portal.
The state has been selected in the category of achievers in the Ease of Doing Business ranking by the Government of India.

So far more than one lakh new employment opportunities have been created in the state through employment oriented schemes like Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana, Mukhyamantri Nano Yojna by attracting private investment of more than Rs.600 crore. Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program, Uttarakhand state is constantly included in the leading states of the country. In this sequence, the state of Uttarakhand is included in the leading states of the country due to the creation and efficient management of schemes like One District One Product, Women Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme, Start-up Policy. 10% of the total startups in the country are located here.
In view of the immense potential of tourism in the state, the state is strengthening the local economy through home stays by strengthening the mountain ranges, ropeway chain and tunnel parking with the help of the Government of India. On the lines of Chardham, vigorous efforts are being made to make Uttarakhand the top tourist center of the country through new schemes like Manas Khand Mandir Mala and 13-District 13-Destination in Kumaon Mandal.
Major temples of Kumaon will be connected with better roads under Manaskhand Mandir Mala. Road connectivity between Garhwal and Kumaon will also be improved. In this regard, reports have been sought from all the district magistrates immediately on the major temples and tourist places of their districts.

The Chief Minister said that despite its limited resources, Uttarakhand has exported about Rs 17000 crore in the last year by focusing on exports, in which the pharma sector has a special contribution. During the Russo-Ukraine war by the state, the traditional food grains of Uttarakhand like Maduva, Jhingora were exported to Europe. For the successful implementation of the One District One Product Scheme, a district level export plan has been prepared by selecting the product to promote exports.

With the inspiration of the Prime Minister, the state is making steady progress in water management and fish production through the “Amrit Sarovar” scheme. Under Amrit Sarovar Yojana, it has been decided to build 1240 Amrit Sarovar in 13 districts of the state. Out of which work has started in 939 Amrit Sarovars and by 2022, work will be completed in 375 Amrit Sarovars.

106 Common Facility Centers will be set up through Rural Business Incubators and Growth Centres. Due to which the income of more than thirty thousand farmers and craftsmen (Shri Kedarnath and Shri Badrinath Shilp Kendra) is being increased by increasing entrepreneurship in rural areas.
According to the instructions given by the Prime Minister, cent percent target has been achieved by the state in PM Kisan Nidhi, Soil Health Card and Ayushman Bharat schemes. In this financial year, all the beneficiaries and targets in PM Awas Yojana Gramin, Jaljeevan Mission, PMGSY, and Swamitva Yojana will be achieved by the state.
Effective monitoring is being done by setting monthly targets to achieve all the remaining flagship schemes by September 2024.
