महिला सुरक्षा पर मुख्यमंत्री की बैठक आज, सभी जिलों के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी होंगे शामिल

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will review the situation of law and order and safety of women in the state in a meeting held at the secretariat on Saturday.
Officers of Home, Police, Social Welfare, Industry, Tourism, Labour, Transport, Women Empowerment and Child Development, Urban Development Department as well as Senior Superintendents of Police and Superintendents of Police of all districts will participate in the meeting.

The details of complaints relating to crimes against women will be furnished:
In the meeting, details of crimes against women and children, rate of punishment, complaints related to crimes against women on all portals and helplines will be presented.
The Chief Minister will also take district-wise details regarding anti-human trafficking, information about public awareness campaign as well as information about the progress of various central schemes related to women and child protection.

Ukrand’s demonstration against the increasing atrocities on women:
Uttarakhand Kranti Dal Mahila Morcha burnt the effigy of the state government at Drona Chowk against the growing atrocities on women. Alleging weak lobbying against the accused in the High Court and Supreme Court and negligence on the investigating agencies and the police, attacked fiercely.
