
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to the Chief Conservator of Forests to make effective arrangements to prevent incidents of attacks by wild animals in different areas of the state. He has asked to take effective action so that such incidents do not happen again.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday expressed grief over the death of a child and other people in the recent attack by man-eating tiger/guldar at Pauri and Sahaspur etc. places in the state and said that such incidents should not recur. The Chief Minister gave instructions over telephone to Chief Conservator of Forests Anoop Malik to make effective arrangements.
In this regard, the Chief Minister has given instructions to stop such incidents by coordinating with the Forest Revenue and Police Department. The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the Forest Department to protect the lives and property of the people from the attacks by wild animals. In this regard, by taking action at the departmental level, prompt efforts should be made to remove the fear prevailing among the people.
