CM Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 291 crore, crowd took to the streets in the road show in Uttarkashi.

When Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a road show at Uttarkashi district headquarters on Monday, a crowd of people gathered on the streets. Thousands of women dressed in traditional attire stood on both sides of the road and showered flowers and welcomed the Chief Minister grandly. Through this event, where people got to know the various aspects of the rich cultural traditions of Uttarkashi district, this event also proved to be very important for the empowerment of women and the development of the district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister participated in the ‘Didi-Bhuli Mahotsav’ of women and also donated Rs. Laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects costing more than Rs 291 crore. In which Rs. It also includes the inauguration of the Renovation, Upgradation and Revitalization (RMU) work of Tiloth Power House of UJVN Limited at a cost of Rs 189 crore.
When Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Uttarkashi to participate in the ‘Didi-Bhuli Mahotsav’ dedicated to women empowerment, a road show was organized from Petrol Pump-Bus Stand to Ramlila Maidan via Bhatwadi Road, Bhairav Chowk, Court Road, Hanuman Chowk. to be done. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also bowed his head to the adorable Kandar deity of Barahat area and offered prayers at Maa Shakti and Baba Vishwanath temple and wished for the progress and prosperity of the state and the country. In this road show organized over a distance of more than one and a half kilometres, the city residents as well as people from every corner of the district welcomed the Chief Minister with great enthusiasm by showering flowers. Groups of women from rural areas dressed in traditional attire and cultural tableaux of folk artists were the main centers of attraction in the road show. Everyone was seen dancing and dancing in the road show due to the performances of traditional musical instruments like Dhol-Damau and Ransinghe.
On the arrival of the Chief Minister, the rich cultural splendor of Uttarkashi district came out on the streets in its amazing style. Chief Minister Dhami appeared overwhelmed by this unique cultural diversity of Uttarkashi and he himself expressed his love for the traditions by showering flowers on the common people and artists. After the completion of the road show, the Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘Vikas Bharat Vikas Gram’ exhibition by worshiping the Badri cow at Ramlila Maidan. Along with inspecting the exhibition stalls, the Chief Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes and distributed checks to the beneficiaries of various schemes.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister took information about Red Paddy which got the honor of second place in the country in the ‘One District One Product’ Nation Award. Women farmers presented sheaves of red paddy to the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Chief Minister pounded red paddy with the women in a traditional mortar by holding a ginjyali (pestle) and took information about making chivda from red paddy. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the traditional wool producers of Dunda and Bagori areas and took information about wool weaving and spinning and also operated the charkha. The Chief Minister gave the message of promoting traditional woolen clothes by spinning wool.
On this occasion the Chief Minister donated Rs. Laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various schemes costing Rs 291 crore 75 lakh. In which Rs. is related to the development of Uttarkashi district. Laying the foundation stone of 24 schemes costing Rs 57 crore 38 lakh and inauguration of 38 schemes costing Rs 45 crore 37 lakh and Rs. It also includes the inauguration of the Renovation, Upgradation and Revitalization (RMU) works of Tiloth Power House of UJVN Limited at a cost of Rs 189 crore.
