Apart from this, there was a ban on giving half a kilo of ghee box to each Raini (married women) at the wedding. Instead of this, ghee will be served in the food at the banquet. The brides will be given a tika of Rs 101 as a shagun. On the first marriage in the family, a goat and bhaara (ration) will be given by the maternal uncle. If caught consuming and selling smack, charas and dry intoxicants in the border area of Khat Fartad, the person concerned and his family will be socially boycotted.
In all the 18 villages related to the letter, unknown persons selling ready-carts and hawkers have been banned. The Khatvasis decided to celebrate the upcoming Ganiyat Bissu fair in a traditional manner at Nagibaagi. Sadar Sayana and Khag Sayana said that the rules passed in the meeting will be strictly implemented to the letter with everyone’s cooperation.
