Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Garhwali film Rikhuli at the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. Congratulating the artists associated with the film, he said that films not only provide direction to the society but also inspire the youth. In the program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, the Chief Minister said that the natural beauty of Uttarakhand has become a center of attraction for filmmakers. Many decisions have been taken in the interest of filmmakers to provide facilities to them in the state.
Uttarakhand a destination for filming
CM Dhami said that entire Uttarakhand is a destination for filming. The film Rikhuli is a meaningful effort to introduce the young generation to the folk traditions and beliefs of the state.

CM Dhami said that we have to remain connected to our culture, environment and the values given by our ancestors. During this time, along with film director Jagat Kishore Gairola, secretary Deepak Gairola, Parmarth Niketan President Chidanand Muni, actor Hemant Pandey, lyricist Narendra Singh Negi and artists associated with the film were present.
