Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister presented products based on copper crafts made in Bageshwar and materials prepared by women self-help groups of Uttarakhand to the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister requested Prime Minister Modi to expedite the work being done by the Border Roads Organization on the Karnaprayag-Gwaldam route. He requested for notifying Kathgodam-Bhimtal, Dhyanachuli-Mornola-Khetikhan-Lohaghat-Panchestra motor road as National Highway and sanctioning Rs 1000 crore for 20 routes connecting Manaskhand temples under Manaskhand Temple Mala Project. What is Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission?
The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister that out of the 48 mythological temples identified under the Manaskhand Temple Mala Mission, infrastructure development work has started in 16 temples. A master plan worth Rs 150 crore has been made for Jageshwar Dham. For the promotion of Manaskhand temples, Bharat Gaurav Manaskhand Express train was requested to be operated from many places of the country to Kathgodam, Tanakpur railway stations of Uttarakhand.
