Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is working with determination to make Uttarakhand the dream and resolve of the state agitators. Everyone will also have to inculcate the spirit of working with commitment towards the development of the state. He said that work will be done to beautify the state with the help of state agitators.
On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the state agitators who came in large numbers at the Chief Sevak Sadan at his residence. During this, he thanked the Chief Minister for restoring 10 percent horizontal reservation to state agitators and 30 percent horizontal reservation to women. During this, he was also handed over a memorandum related to the problems of the state agitators, on which the Chief Minister assured of necessary action at the earliest.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he has also been a witness during the state building movement. He himself has seen the people’s movement of Khatima. He pays homage to the martyrs by visiting the martyr’s places of Mussoorie, Rampur Tiraha. A grand monument has been constructed in Khatima. Many decisions have been taken by the state government in the interest of the agitators. Efforts are being made to ensure that they continue to get the facilities which are permissible.
The Chief Minister said that the government is dedicated to the youth. Strict action has been taken against the recruitment mafia. More than 90 persons have been jailed for rigging the examinations. The country’s biggest anti-copying law has been implemented so that no one thinks of cheating the youth.
The draft of the Uniform Civil Code is being finalized. Strict laws have been made to ban conversion. The government is working with determination to make Uttarakhand the best state by the year 2025.
A large number of state agitators including state president Laxman Singh Bhandari, general secretary Veera Bhandari of the State Construction Marked Movement Forum were included in the delegation.
