In view of the assembly elections to be held in various states in the near future, BJP is now going to field Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Chief Minister’s tour program to Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan has been fixed from Tuesday to September 21.
will address public meetings
Chief Minister Dhami, who came into limelight for taking many major decisions including the initiative for Uniform Civil Code, is in high demand in these two states. During his visit to these states, he will address public meetings in various assembly constituencies as well as participate in other programs. Chief Minister Dhami had announced in the last assembly elections that as soon as BJP comes back to power, he will take effective initiatives towards implementing Uniform Civil Code in the state. After forming the government again, Chief Minister Dhami, in the very first meeting of the cabinet, constituted an expert committee to decide its draft for implementing the Uniform Civil Code. The committee has almost completed its work and will soon submit this draft to the government. After this, the government will implement the Uniform Civil Code by giving it a legal form. The Chief Minister himself has said this. Along with this, the law has been made more strict to prevent forced religious conversion in the state, while a strict anti-copying law has been introduced to free the recruitment examinations from the clutches of cheating mafia. Not only this, steps have been taken to stop land jihad. A campaign is going on across the state to free government land from encroachment. The political stature of the Chief Minister has increased due to these big decisions.
