
Despite the huge economic setback due to the Kovid epidemic, entrepreneurs who gave impetus to investment in Uttarakhand have invested seven and a half thousand crores in the state since January 2020. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will honor the investors by organizing an incentive and honor ceremony on September 6.
Feedback will also be taken from investors who have started production by setting up industries in the state within the last two years to promote investment in the service sector. About 60 investors of the state will be honored in the function to be held at the Chief Sevak Sadan at the Chief Minister’s residence. It will include 42 big investors and MSME entrepreneurs from different districts.
In 2019, the government organized the Investors’ Summit (Investors’ Conference) to promote industrial investment. In this, investors from all over the country and the world had signed an MoU with the government expressing their desire to invest in the state. Investment MoUs worth 1.24 lakh crores were signed in this conference. The Dhami government made many reforms in industrial policies and single window system to solve the problems of investors and to set up new industries, which has resulted in an investment of seven and a half thousand crores within two years.
In order to encourage entrepreneurs to invest in new industries in the state, Investor Award Ceremony is being organized. Preparations are going on for this. Investment prospects will also be discussed with the investors in this function.
