Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami suddenly arrived at the Sardar Patel Bhawan Auditorium late in the evening during today’s concluding session of Chintan Shivir at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. During this, he started listening to the views of other officers as a listener. During this, the Chief Minister listened to the views and suggestions of the officers along with watching the presentation very seriously.

All the officers also discussed with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the conclusion of the second session of Strong Uttarakhand @ 25 Chintan Shivir. On this occasion, Chief Secretary SS Sandhu told the Chief Minister that there was a lot of good discussion these days.
He told that the discussion session was for half an hour but the discussions dragged on for one to one and a half hours. Along with this, the Chief Secretary informed the Chief Minister that on the same lines as the Chintan Shivir is being held, discussions will be held with two to three departments every month. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all the ideas that have come up in the Chintan Shivir should be implemented and brought to the cabinet.

Need to spread awareness on drinking water on a large scale:
Drinking Water Secretary Nitesh Kumar Jha gave his presentation on Natural Resource Management at Strong Uttarakhand @ 25 Chintan Shivir. He told that at present Dehradun and Haridwar are the two districts in the state where water is most needed. Efforts are being made to remove it.
He told that we need to spread awareness about drinking water on a large scale in the entire state. For this, preparations are being made to celebrate the foundation day of the Gram Sabhas in the coming days. The intention behind this is that on this day such capable people reach there who can adopt the local drains, skins and ponds. Apart from this, large plantation should be done so that we can move forward in the direction of water conservation. He said that awareness should be created through school children among those who spend more on drinking water.
