A glimpse of Akhand Bharat will be seen in the opening ceremony of the National Games at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, representatives of the athlete team from all 28 states and eight union territories of the country will present a grand parade. The athlete team of Uttarakhand will be led by international badminton player Lakshya Sen, who will be the flag bearer of the Uttarakhand team. Also, Tejaswini will hand over the torch of the National Games to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The formal inauguration of the National Games being held in Uttarakhand will be done by collective blowing of conch shells in 2025. The message of the integrity of Sanatan culture will be given by collectively reciting Sanskrit verses. Playback singers Jubin Nautiyal and Pawandeep Rajan will be seen spreading the magic of their voices. At the same time, a performance will also be given by Pandavas. Apart from this, more than 4000 artists will bring alive the tradition and culture of Uttarakhand through cultural programs.
Sankalp se Shikhar tak… the tagline of the National Games
Three group programs will be presented on the theme of Sankalp se Shikhar tak, the tagline of the National Games. 700 to 800 artists will give group performances in these programs. Fireworks and grand light show will add to the grandeur of the opening ceremony.
