BJP has divided Uttarakhand into two clusters for the Lok Sabha elections. Under this, Dehradun has been made the center of three Lok Sabha seats of Garhwal division and Haldwani has been made the center of two seats of Kumaon. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt gave this information while talking to journalists at the state BJP headquarters on Friday. He said that Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has been made in-charge for Dehradun center and Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna has been made in-charge for Haldwani. For their cooperation, co-in-charge, Lok Sabha in-charge, co-in-charge and coordinator will soon be appointed.
Bhatt said that for the first time there will be meetings at the cluster level in the state with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and other Union Ministers and national leaders. The party has started preparations in this regard.
He informed that the wall writing program started by the party will be carried out extensively at the booth level by the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs and party officials from January 15 till the announcement of the election programme. More than 1200 names came from other parties to join BJP. Bhatt said that from Makar Sankranti the party is going to open its doors for leaders of other parties.
State level committee has already been formed
This sequence will be expanded rapidly for the next two months. For this, a state level committee has already been formed and now district level teams are being formed. He said that till now the party has received the names of more than 1200 big leaders and senior workers of various parties to join BJP. After detailed investigation, they will be given party membership. Along with people associated with political, social, ex-servicemen and employee organizations, all those who have contested elections in the past will also be associated with the party. Referring to the Gaon Chalo campaign, Bhatt said that between February 4 and 6, the Chief Minister, Ministers, MPs, MLAs, public representatives up to the village head level and mandal level officials will migrate.
Party leaders will spend 24 hours at 11729 booths
Under this, party leaders will spend 24 hours at all the 11729 booths of the state. They will discuss the actions of the government and their impact. Will also listen to public problems and take suggestions. The party has also taken up a campaign to strengthen the booths.
Cleanliness and bhajan kirtan campaign
In view of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the party has also decided to conduct a massive campaign for cleanliness of pilgrimage areas and bhajan kirtan in temples from 14 to 22 January. 2.43 lakh Vikas Bharat Ambassadors have been made. Bhatt said that the Namo App Vikas Bharat Ambassador campaign is also being given momentum. So far, 2.43 lakh people in the state have downloaded NaMo app under Vikas Bharat Ambassador. Of these, 2.27 lakh are fully active in the campaign. In the next phase, targets have also been set for MPs, MLAs and party officials to connect the common people on NaMo App.
