
The registration of 50 devotees going for Chardham Yatra in a bus from Madhya Pradesh has been found fake in the investigation. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against an unknown person. Also the search for the accused has been started. Umrao Singh, a resident of Sunala village of Depalpur police station area of Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, gave a complaint to the Mangalore Kotwali police on Saturday night and said that 50 devotees had boarded a bus with him and set out for the Chardham Yatra. Meanwhile, he had contacted a person for registration of Chardham Yatra. Who had told that he will get all the people registered for Chardham Yatra. The said person had transferred six thousand rupees online for six registrations. Also, a PDF of the registration was prepared and sent to his mobile. When he reached Narsan Border on Saturday evening, the police checked his registration. During investigation the registration was found to be fake. Mangalore Kotwali in-charge Amarchand Sharma said that on the basis of the complaint, a case of fraud has been registered against unknown person. Also, the accused is being identified and searched on the basis of mobile number.
Devotees faced problems
When the registration was found to be fake, the police stopped the entire bus at Narsan border and did not allow it to go further. Meanwhile, the devotees traveling in the bus had to face problems. However, later the process of registering all the devotees was started. After which he heaved a sigh of relief and the police sent him forward.
