Governor and Chief Minister released 75 books based on herbs and Ayurveda medicine and 51 new medicines under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Senior) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the herbal day program organized at Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar on Thursday. On this occasion, he jointly released 75 books based on herbs and Ayurveda medicine and 51 new medicines under the Amrit Festival of Independence.
In the program organized on Herb Diwas, the Governor wished Acharya Balkrishna on his 50th birthday and said that celebrating his birthday as Herbi Diwas by Acharya ji is a unique initiative for our prosperity with the protection of nature. Is. He said that Patanjali Yogpeeth is carrying forward the tradition of sages who have taken India to the glory of world guru on the strength of knowledge, science, culture, research and spirituality.
The Governor said that Yoga, Ayurveda, yogic and intellectual knowledge, herbs, medicine are going to enhance the feeling of our Vishwaguru. He said that the identity of India is due to its civilization, culture and Ayurveda. The Governor said that we are again moving towards getting the recognition of Vishwaguru, in which Patanjali is also seen moving forward in the role of leadership.

He said that in Patanjali’s vision, ideas and feelings like self-reliant India, intellectual property, artificial intelligence are inherent which are the demand of the present times. He said that on the occasion of 75th anniversary of independence, 75 books on herbs and Ayurveda medicine have been released in itself. He said that Herbs Day is supposed to reinforce the basic concept of happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of the people. India has modernized the great tradition of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to start the registration of Naturopathy doctors in the state of Uttarakhand soon. While wishing Acharya Balkrishna on his birthday, he said that Acharya Balkrishna, who is a follower of the great sage tradition, who is a connoisseur of herbs and is increasing the prestige of Ayurveda by promoting them, has done historical work in the field of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is not just a medical system, it can be described as a holistic human philosophy. Ayurveda is such a heritage that the welfare of the whole world is being ensured.

He said that during the Corona period the world adopted the principles of Ayurveda and reaped the benefits. Ayurveda is a holistic science of life, today it is accepted all over the world. Ayurveda is not limited only to the treatment of a patient, but in Indian philosophy it is accepted as the basic knowledge of life, hence it has been named as the fifth Veda. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a new methodology has emerged under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yoga Day is being celebrated across the world on 21st June. Under the Amrit festival of independence, a mass movement to hoist the tricolor at every house is being run all over the country. He urged everyone to make Uttarakhand a leading state in every field by 2025. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also highlighted the importance of Ayurveda in a global program held recently and said that Ayurveda is highly effective from plant to your plate, from physical strength to mental wellness.
The Chief Minister said that Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna have given a new identity to Yoga and Ayurveda. During this, Acharya Balkrishna presented 50,000 national flags (symbolically) to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to be hoisted at different places for the Tricolor campaign at Har Ghar.

Cabinet Minister Premchandra Agrawal, Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MLA Pradeep Batra, Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna, Swami Damodar Das, Swami Kamal Das, Mahamandaleshwar Arjun Puri and others were present in the program.
