The Governor said that it is the responsibility of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand to make full contribution in making Sanskrit language the language of the world and the nation. He said that Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages ​​of the world. Along with being the language of our knowledge and science, it binds the country in one thread. It is very difficult to understand our culture and civilization without Sanskrit. He said that Sanskrit should be linked with social media, mass media and efforts should be made to make it more accessible. He called upon everyone that we should use Sanskrit in our daily colloquial language.
The Governor said that in order to advance, develop and preserve the Sanskrit language, we should make efforts to make our children skillful by connecting Sanskrit with knowledge and science. Sanskrit language is the bridge that connects the old with the new.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ritu Khandudi Bhushan, who was present in the program, said that it is necessary to work on the promotion and promotion of Sanskrit language. Sanskrit should be used in colloquial language. He said that every effort would be made to take forward Sanskrit.
Giving information about the Sanskrit Week Festival, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat informed about its objectives. He informed that Sanskrit week is being celebrated from 08 to 14 August for the promotion of Sanskrit language. He said that one Sanskrit village would be formed in each district. Along with this, 5 lakh students, who want to learn and speak Sanskrit, will be given practical knowledge of Sanskrit. During this, he also inquired about other important decisions being taken for the promotion and upgradation of Sanskrit language. All India Organization Minister Dinesh Kamat gave his views in the context of Sanskrit language.
On the occasion of Sanskrit week, Speaker Ritu Bhushan Khanduri, Cabinet Minister Premchandra Agrawal, MLA Rudraprayag Bharat Singh Chaudhary, MLA Tharali Bhopal Ram Tamta, MLA Ranikhet Dr. Pramod Nainwal were honored with Sanskrit Gaurav Samman for promotion and promotion of Sanskrit language. .
