Died due to deteriorating health
Let us tell you that 37 year old Major Pranay Negi was posted in Leh, Jammu and Kashmir. He spoke to his parents on phone at 8 pm on Monday night. Major Negi is originally a resident of Thati Dagar, Kirtinagar, Tehri Garhwal district. He was posted in 94 Medium Regiment. Former village head Narendra Singh Negi told that Major Pranay Negi had received education at St. George’s School, Mussoorie. Where he was also honored by the President as the best student.
He was very promising and soft-spoken. He has two married sisters, wife and one and a half year old son. There is mourning in the area due to the news of his sacrifice.
