In a major reshuffle late on Thursday, the government changed the posts of 36 officers, including 22 IAS. The government has appointed IAS Udayraj Singh as the new District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar. He will replace IAS couple Kishor Pant. Apart from this, the government has changed the responsibilities of eight officers of Secretariat Service, one of Finance Service and five PCS officers.

The rest of his duties will remain the same. Taking back the responsibility of social welfare and minority welfare from Principal Secretary L Fanai, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of Chairman Transport Corporation.
Radhika Jha, who returned from study leave, has been given the responsibility of social welfare. Taking back the responsibility of Culture Department from IAS Ranveer Singh Chauhan, the responsibility of Additional Secretary Drinking Water and Project Director Namami Gange and KFW has been given. Taking back the charge of Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority from District Magistrate Haridwar Dhiraj Garbyal, Vice Chairman Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority has been handed over to IAS Anshul Singh.
The post of Director Drinking Water has been taken back from IAS Ranjana. Additional Secretary Yogendra Yadav has been entrusted with the responsibility of Social Welfare and Commissioner for Disabled. Additional Secretary Karmendra Singh has been given the charge of Director Swajal. Additional Secretary Anand Srivastava has been given the additional charge of Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. Additional Secretary Rohit Meena has been given the responsibility of Mission Director NHM.
Additional Secretary Navneet Pandey has been given the responsibility of Director ISDS and Director Women Welfare. Additional Secretary Meharban Singh Bisht has been given the charge of Additional Secretary Sugarcane and Managing Director Uttarakhand Sugar Federation. Additional Secretary Ruchi Mohan Rayal has been given the responsibility of Food, Civil Supplies and Commissioner Civil Supplies. Additional Secretary Namami Bansal has been given the responsibility of medicine and medical education.
Madan Mohan Semwal, Additional Secretary from Secretariat Service, has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary, School Education and Confidentiality. Additional Secretary Rajendra Singh has been given the responsibility of culture and religion. Additional Secretary Laxman Singh has been given the charge of Additional Secretary State Property and State Property Officer. Additional Secretary Pradeep Singh Rawat has been given the responsibility of Secretariat Administration, and Secretary, Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission.
The responsibility of confidentiality has been withdrawn from Additional Secretary Omkar Singh. Additional Secretary Atar Singh has also been given the responsibility of housing. The responsibility of social welfare has been withdrawn from Additional Secretary Suresh Chandra Joshi. Housing and Finance Services from Additional Secretary Mayawati Dhakriyal and Health Department from Additional Secretary Arunendra Singh have been withdrawn.
Additional Secretary Ravneet Cheema from PCS cadre has been given additional charge of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. State Property Department has been withdrawn from Additional Secretary Pratap Singh Shah. PCS BL Firmal has been given the responsibility of Divisional Food Controller, Kumaon Division. PCS BS Chalal has been given the responsibility of Additional Director Training Directorate Haldwani and PCS Ramdutt Paliwal has been given the responsibility of Director Administration and Chief Administrative Officer Pantnagar Agricultural University Udham Singh Nagar.
