Manaskhand Bharat Gaurav Express tourist train will be run from Kolkata and Visakhapatnam in December to visit religious tourist places of Kumaon. Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and IRCTC have launched Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Yatra tour package. Devotees can book their seats by visiting the IRCTC tourism website. Tourists from West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and other states will be able to avail the benefits of this tour package. The train will go till Tanakpur, from where IRCTC tour managers will make arrangements for the mountain journey, accommodation, food etc. for the passengers.
The journey will run from 3rd to 13th December
The journey starting from Kolkata will run from 3rd to 13th December, while the journey from Visakhapatnam is scheduled from 16th to 26th December. 300 passengers each will be able to travel by both the trains. Passengers can board the train from Kolkata from Bardhaman, Asansol, Jhajha, Barauni, Hajipur, Gorakhpur and Lucknow stations. Passengers from Raigad, Titlagarh, Raipur, Uslapur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj and Lucknow can also board the train from Visakhapatnam. Passengers will get the facility to travel in AC 3 tier, but the experience inside will be like AC 2 tier, because the upper berth will not be opened. Ticket booking has been divided into two categories. Rs 30,925 will have to be spent for standard and Rs 38,535 for deluxe. In the 11 days and 10 nights tour package, there will be arrangements for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with the accommodation of the passengers.

The passengers will stay for one night each in Tanakpur, Champawat (Lohaghat), Chaukodi and Almora, while they will spend two nights in Nainital (Bhimtal).

Travel package plan for tourist places of Garhwal Mandal in January
Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and IRCTC have planned to launch tour packages for other religious tourist places including Haridwar, Rishikesh and Tehri of Garhwal Mandal in January. It will be launched soon.
