The land of Joshimath area is becoming sensitive due to environmental reasons:
At present, the challenge of deciding the direction of the Joshimath area due to landslides is in front. If we look at the history, it comes to the fore that this whole area has faced a big tragedy in the year 1970. Effects and causes of this tragedy, Director of Uttarakhand Space Applications Center (USAC), Prof. MPS Bisht has stated in his Ph.D.
According to the facts of PhD completed between the year 1985 to 1991, the vulnerability of land in Joshimath area is responsible for external reason as well as major internal reason.
