Budget session was held in the summer capital last year
The budget session was held in the summer capital Gairsain in March last year. There has been no session of the Assembly there since then. This time the budget session was to be held in Gairsain, but then it was held in Dehradun itself on the request of the MLAs of the opposition and the ruling party. The budget session ended on 29 February. It is necessary to hold the second session before six months. Accordingly, the period of six months is ending on 29 August. Obviously, the monsoon session of the assembly is to be held before this. In view of this, the government has started preparations for the monsoon session.
