Triyuginarayan, the marriage venue of Shiva-Parvati, will be developed as a wedding destination like Shantikunj Haridwar. Now BKTC permission will be required to organize a marriage here. The process of online application for permission will also start soon. For this, Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has started preparing the rules. Triyuginarayan Temple, located at a distance of 13 km from Sonprayag on the Rudraprayag-Gaurikund National Highway, is the marriage venue of Lord Shiva-Parvati. The visible evidence of the divine marriage is present here, in which the unbroken flame has been burning continuously for three ages and the stone in which the mountain king Himalaya had given away his daughter Parvati.
There are many other evidences as well. In this marriage, Lord Vishnu played his role as the brother of Mother Parvati. Triyuginarayan Temple is under the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. Now BKTC is going to develop this Dev Vivah Sthali as a wedding destination like Shantikunj Haridwar. Here, now those wishing to organize a marriage will have to take permission from the Shri Badinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. They will have to apply for permission, in which they will also have to provide other documents including marriage card, Aadhar card, photo identity card. After this, the committee will examine all the documents on the basis of the application form and give approval.
Creating email ID for BKTC online
The temple committee has started making rules for organizing marriages. Besides, a website and email ID are also being prepared to make the application process online. However, currently interested people can apply offline for marriage here, for which the committee has nominated the executive officer of Kedarnath temple as the nodal officer and the manager of Triyuginarayan temple as the assistant nodal officer.
The proposal was put forward in the board meeting last year
Last year, in the board meeting of BKTC held in Dehradun, senior pilgrim priest of Kedarnath, Srinivas Posti, had proposed to make rules for organizing marriages in Triyuginarayan, keeping complete information about the people getting married and other points. Accepting this proposal, the committee had agreed to develop Triyuginarayan as a wedding destination on the lines of Shantikunj in Haridwar.
On the lines of Shantikunj, rules are being prepared along with an action plan to develop Triyuginarayan as a wedding destination. As long as these formalities are completed, people can submit their applications offline.
