The Industry Department has started the online application process for Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana 2.0. The state government has set a target of providing employment to 10 thousand people through this scheme in the current financial year. Last month, the state government has implemented Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana 2.0 by merging Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana and Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana Ati Micro Scheme. This scheme will be effective till 2030. Under the scheme, the project cost in the manufacturing sector has been fixed at 25 lakhs, 10 lakhs for the service sector and the project cost of other micro businesses has been fixed at two lakhs. The government will give 25 to 30 percent subsidy on a loan of two lakhs for micro business. Apart from this, 20 to 25 percent subsidy will be available on loans from two to 10 lakhs and 15 to 20 percent subsidy will be available on loans from 10 lakhs to 25 lakhs. To avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana, one has to apply online. After scrutiny of the applications by the Industry Department, the loans will be sent to the banks for approval. The state government has set a time limit for disbursement of loans to the banks. Applications up to Rs. 5 lakhs will have to be approved in two weeks, and applications from Rs. 5 lakh to 25 lakhs will have to be approved in three weeks.
