The temple committee has put up sign boards around Kedarnath temple including Kedarnath temple complex, Bhairavnath temple. In which various information has been written including banning mobile photos and videos inside the temple, having darshan only in limited clothes. In this regard, the chairman of the temple committee, Ajendra Ajay, has said that legal action will be taken against the devotee for clicking the photo.

Recently, the video of blogger rider girl Vishakha proposing to her lover in Kedarnath also went viral on the internet media. Regarding which protest has also been expressed by the pilgrimage priests.
After this another controversial video surfaced. In this, in front of the Kedarnath temple, a young man is filling vermilion on the demand of a woman and the woman is touching his feet. In this regard, the temple committee and the pilgrimage priests protested and accused the police of negligence.
