All India Congress Committee General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will address election rallies in Ramnagar in Garhwal parliamentary constituency and Roorkee in Haridwar parliamentary constituency on April 13. After Priyanka’s public meetings have been decided, the State Congress Committee has started preparing for it. State Congress President Karan Mahara has asked to ensure maximum public participation in all. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be the first to take charge as a star campaigner in the Lok Sabha election campaign in Uttarakhand. This has brought great relief to Congress. The ruling party BJP has fielded its star campaigners, while Congress has had to struggle with confusion in this matter for a long time.
Will give edge to Congress’s election campaign
On behalf of BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had held an election rally in Rudrapur on April 2. He will come to Rishikesh on 11th April. Now the party will heat up the election atmosphere in the state through the election meetings of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Congress’s strategy is to reach out to both Garhwal and Kumaon divisions through Priyanka’s meeting in Ramnagar.
Priyanka will come to Uttarakhand on 13th April
Along with Ramnagar Garhwal, it is also adjacent to Almora parliamentary constituency and Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar area. State Congress Vice President Organization and Administration Mathura Dutt Joshi said that Priyanka Gandhi will leave from New Delhi on April 13. She will address a public meeting in Ramnagar at 11.50 am through air service in support of Garhwal parliamentary constituency candidate Ganesh Godiyal. After this, she will participate in the election meeting at DAV ground in Roorkee at 3 pm in support of Congress candidate from Haridwar parliamentary constituency, Virendra Singh Rawat. After this she will return to Delhi.
Preparations for public meetings are going on rapidly
Mathura Dutt Joshi said that the state organization has started preparations for Priyanka Gandhi’s public meetings. A large number of party workers from both the Lok Sabha constituencies will participate in these meetings. State Congress President Karan Mahara has also instructed the concerned district and block units to start preparations to bring more number of people to the meetings.
