In Uttarakhand, the weather conditions have remained sharp and heavy rains are causing heavy damage at many places. On the other hand, for the next few days, the sequence of heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted in most areas of the state. According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, a red alert has been issued for extremely heavy rainfall in Dehradun, Pauri and Tehri today.
There, there is an orange alert for very heavy rainfall in Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. In other districts too, there may be intense showers with thunder and lightning at some places. This sequence of rain is expected to continue till August 14. For the last three days, the sequence of heavy rains is continuing in many areas of Doon.
