Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had announced the recruitment of women home guards at the Raetic Parade held in December. In this sequence, the government issued an order to recruit one woman platoon of women home guards in Udham Singh Nagar, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pauri, Uttarkashi and Tehri districts.
