Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate minority scholarship scam. Additional Director General of Police Crime and Law and Order Dr. V Murugeshan has issued an order in this regard. All the senior Superintendents of Police of the state will be members in the SIT headed by Inspector General of Police Crime Law and Order. Apart from this, the expert officer of Minority Welfare Department nominated by the government, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Police Headquarters will be members. This team will be able to take the help of other personnel with it as per its discretion.
