The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Bageshwar and Champawat districts on Friday. There is a possibility of very heavy rain, lightning with thunder and extremely heavy rain in both the districts. An alert has also been issued for rain and thundershowers in some hilly districts. Heavy rain occurred in many districts on Friday morning, due to which waterlogging occurred in many areas. However, after eight o’clock the weather became normal and the sun came out. There was humid heat due to bright sunshine. However, in the evening once again the sky became cloudy and it became rainy at night.
Due to rain, some drop in temperature has been recorded. On Thursday, the maximum temperature in Dehradun was 34.4 and minimum temperature was 21.2, while in Pantnagar the maximum temperature was 34.6 and minimum temperature was 26.2, in Mukteshwar the maximum temperature was 21.5 and maximum 14.7 while in New Tehri the maximum temperature was 26.1 and minimum temperature was 16.2.
