Women, youth and ex-servicemen will get employment in Uttarakhand, Dhami government made this plan

Steps will be taken towards connecting youth, women and ex-servicemen with employment, skill development and providing job opportunities in government and private institutions in the state. The cabinet has approved to make separate policies for them. A policy will be made on these three soon after detailed discussion.

Also, the cabinet decided that now the proposal for creation of more than 15 posts in any department will be first sent to the Departmental Structure and Pay Discrepancy Committee. The cabinet has also approved the Uttarakhand Crime Victim Assistance (Amendment) Scheme and Uttarakhand Sakshi Sanrakshan Yojana. Six proposals were approved in the meeting held in Gairsain on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A proposal was presented in the cabinet by the Youth Welfare Department on the preparation of Chief Minister Yuva Yojana-Competition Examinations. It was told that the youth will be prepared for online examination in two phases. In the first phase, preparation for engineering, medical and law will be done and in the second phase, preparation for civil services and banking management will be done. In this, a target has been set to prepare 10 thousand children through online medium. For this, agreements will be made with renowned institutes preparing for competitive exams. Its objective is to pave the way for employment for the youth living in remote areas. Under the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, youth will also be motivated for entrepreneurship and self-employment. Also, to create employment in industries, 50 percent classroom teaching and 50 percent curriculum will be provided to the youth through ITI through industrial training. Also, efforts will be made to provide employment abroad to the youth through courses in subjects other than nursing. Also, arrangements will be made to build an integrated campus. Where degree college, polytechnic and ITI will be in the same campus. The lab here will be used jointly. Also, agreements will be made with different colleges to provide training in foreign languages ​​to the youth. It was also decided to hold a meeting under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary on August 28 to finalize this plan.

In the proposal presented by the Women Empowerment Department, it was decided to train 200 people in each block for beekeeping, apple mission and horticulture to connect women with self-employment. Also, it was agreed to enter into an agreement with other agencies like the agreement between the Agriculture Department and ITBP for the purchase of local products, fruits, vegetables and milk of the state.

In the proposal presented by the Sainik Welfare Department, it was agreed to work towards linking ex-servicemen with government schemes for providing employment and self-employment and linking them with services based on their qualifications in various institutions.
