Keeping in mind the upcoming Christmas Festival, Winterline Carnival and New Year celebrations, District Magistrate Sonika has issued an order making masks mandatory for those visiting Mussoorie.

Appeal to maintain distance of two yards and use of hand sanitizer:
It will now be mandatory to wear masks in public places in Mussoorie. Along with this, an appeal has also been made to maintain two yards and use of hand sanitizer in establishments.
The District Magistrate says that the spread of corona infection has started again, in such a situation it is necessary to take timely precautionary measures. Keeping this in mind, the Covid protocol is being implemented again.
Tourist places attract a large number of tourists from all over the country.
From Christmas in Mussoorie to the beginning of New Year, a large number of tourists from all over the country reach Mussoorie and nearby tourist places. Apart from this, a huge crowd also gathers in the five-day winter carnival to be held in Mussoorie from 26 December.
Due to which the risk of spreading corona infection increases. In view of which the mask has been made mandatory. Apart from this, the District Magistrate has also appealed to the residents of Doon to use masks in public places.
