Apart from this, random sampling of medicines of other batch numbers is also being done by the department.

Let us tell you, last Sunday the police had busted a fake medicine factory in Jhabreda. This medicine has been supplied in the market on a large scale. In such a situation, the Drug Control Department has also started action at its level. Drug Controller Tajbar Singh Jaggi said that the list of medicines has been provided by the police.
Random sampling is being done
These include Walter Bushnell’s Urispas and Jagsanpal’s Indocap and Indocap SR capsules. The police has also shared information about the batch numbers of these medicines with the department. Whose investigation has been ordered. Drug inspectors are inspecting the medicine shops and matching the said batch numbers. Apart from this, random sampling of medicines is also being done. So that if any medicine is found sub-standard, its sale can be stopped immediately.
