The sky is clear in the plains of Uttarakhand and the sun is shining brightly. However, light winds kept blowing along with partial clouds in the mountainous areas along with Doon. In most areas, the maximum temperature remained around normal and the minimum temperature remained below normal.
Chances of light snowfall and drizzle in high altitude areas
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry in most areas of the state on Saturday. Partial clouds may remain at some places in the mountainous areas. From next Monday, there is a possibility of partial to mainly cloudy weather in most of the mountainous areas. Light snowfall and drizzle may occur in high altitude areas.
Shivers are also felt in the morning in the mountainous areas
The sky remained clear in Doon since Friday morning and bright sunshine was seen during the day. But, light to moderate winds also kept blowing at some places. Partial clouds also started hovering in Doon in the evening. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature of Doon was recorded normal. However, due to the minimum temperature being below normal, the morning and evening remain cold. Shivering is being felt in the morning even in the mountainous regions.
