14 women and girls of the state, who are becoming an inspiration for others by doing excellent work in various fields, were honored with the State Stree Shakti Teelu Rauteli, 35 Anganwadi workers with the Anganwadi Worker Award.
An amount of 51-52 thousand was released through digital transfer to the account of the awardees. The chief guest at the function, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it would not be an exaggeration to remember Teelu Rauteli as Jhansi ki Rani of Uttarakhand. Women also proved that they are not less than anyone. He said that as your brother, he would be ready to do whatever is best for him.
On Tuesday, a prize distribution ceremony was organized by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development at the IRDT auditorium located at Survey Chowk. Chief Guest Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Special Guest Departmental Minister Rekha Arya started the program.
During this, Teelu Rauteli Awards were given to women who have done excellent work in various fields including education, adventure, art craft, culture, sports, literature, livelihood promotion, cleanliness, social service. In which symbols, shawls, certificates were provided. Since Mansi Negi and Preeti were out, the award was handed over to their relatives.

Enumerating the achievements of the state government, the Chief Minister said that the government has done the work of giving 30 percent benefit in government jobs at a fast pace.
The work of providing mobile phones to 20 thousand 67 Anganwadi workers, nutrition campaign has been done to make the minimum age for primary education admission six years. Out of 1265 cases, 914 have been resolved at the One Stop Center in the state. Self-help groups are being given loans up to five lakh without loan.
Departmental Secretary HC Semwal said that according to the parameters of the Central Government, 35 out of 135 Anganwadi workers are being honored. 20 thousand Anganwadi centers are being operated in the state. During this, a short film on Teelu Rauteli was screened. Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Das, Deputy Director of the Department Vikram Singh, District Program Officer Mohit Chowdhary etc were present on this occasion.
Anganwadi worker’s connection with children is no less than that of a mother
The Chief Minister said that both my children did their initial education from Anganwadi centers. Said that the Anganwadi worker who is attached to the children is no less than a mother. Said that apart from giving new direction in the society, this award will work to inspire others as well.

Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha reached Arya in the costume of Anganwadi worker at the prize distribution ceremony. Seeing this, the enthusiasm of the workers increased and some started shouting. The departmental minister said that efforts are being made to find and honor Teelu Rauteli, who is doing better work on the birthday of the heroic Teelu Rauteli. As much as Uttarakhand is known as the land of gods, in the same way it should be known as the land of goddesses.
For this every woman will have to become Teelu Rauteli, will have to work hard. He told the Anganwadi workers that today my dress is also like yours. Not me but the Anganwadi worker i.e. you are sitting on the stage seat. Said that this costume is a symbol of your services. Where Anganwadi is getting honorarium with respect, Uttarakhand is in second place to do so.

The departmental minister said that the person who talks about caste, class and color is weak. There is nothing bigger than the deeds of a person, whenever a person shows his potential, that becomes his real identity. Said that the work that Teelu Rauteli did in 15 years, today’s women and daughters can do it in any situation and at any age by recognizing their potential.
