Heli service is operated every year in the state for Kedarnath Dham and Hemkund Sahib. Booking of tickets for heli service of Kedarnath Dham has been started. The enthusiasm of passengers regarding heli services can be gauged from the fact that tickets for heli service till June have been booked. In view of this, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Authority (UCADA) is going to start heli service for Badrinath Dham also this year. This heli service will be operated by the same company which operates heli service for Hemkund Sahib.
Service will operate between Gauchar and Badrinath
In fact, during the Hemkund Heli service, there is a short period of time when the helicopter remains at the helipad at this place. This duration is about three hours. UCADA is planning to operate this helicopter between Gauchar to Badrinath during the same period. If this heli service operates successfully this year, then it will be operated regularly from next year. CEO UCADA C Ravi Shankar says that this air service is being started on a trial basis this year. For this reason, its tickets will also be given from the counter in Gauchar itself.
