Tributes were paid to the martyrs of Uttarakhand on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Seni) paid tribute to the martyrs at the Shaurya Sthal in Chirbagh.
During this, he said that the Indian Army has always increased the pride of the country with its bravery and valour, on which we all are proud. The borders of the nation are safe only because of the sacrifice and sacrifice of these brave soldiers.
Major General Sanjeev Khatri, GOC of Uttarakhand sub-area and many serving and retired military officers and jawans were present in the programme.
Here, a program is also being organized at the Martyr’s Memorial located at Gandhi Park. In which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi etc. will be present.
