Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is visiting Uttarakhand on 31st March. On this day, he will launch various cooperative schemes along with bringing online all 670 multi-purpose initial agricultural credit cooperative societies (MPAX) of the state at a function organized at Rishikul Maidan in Haridwar.
In view of the visit of the Union Minister, the Cooperative Department has started preparations. In this episode, Cooperative Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat gave necessary instructions to the departmental officers. Prior to this, Union Minister Shah will also participate in the initiation ceremony of Gurukul Kangri University in addition to the program of Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar.
Cooperative Minister Dr. Rawat said that preparations are in the final stage in view of Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shah’s visit to Haridwar. He informed that computerization of all 670 MPEX in the state has been completed.
Inauguration of Jan Suvidha and Jan Aushadhi Kendras:
Union Minister Shah will start all these online at a function organized in Haridwar. With this, various facilities will be available to farmers under one roof through committees. Along with this, he will also inaugurate the Jan Suvidha and Jan Aushadhi Kendras established in 95 MPAX of the state.
He informed that progressive farmers who have done remarkable work in the field of agriculture and horticulture will be honored at the ceremony by the Union Minister. Along with this, loan checks will also be provided to the beneficiaries at zero interest rate under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
Apart from this, joint cooperative farming operations will be started in all the 95 development blocks of the state under the State Integrated Cooperative Development Project. Various schemes of the Cooperative Department will be presented before the Union Minister during the function. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, MP from Haridwar and former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, state cabinet ministers and departmental officers will be present in the function.
